Strive Intensive Outpatient Programs use evidenced based treatment utilizing DBT and CBT therapies. The goal is to strengthen the individual’s functioning while providing the tools to return to healthy daily activities. Our programs are designed to help each individual identify their own triggers to negative thought processes and behaviors, and develop effective self-regulation skills they can use at home, in the community and at school.
Program schedule:
Adolescent IOP is offered 5 days per week. Attendance is required 3 days per week, 3 hours per day, and is led by Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselors (LCACs) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs). Individual sessions, medication management, and discharge planning are part of IOP services.
Strive Day School
This program is designed for adolescents (ages 13 to 17) who may not be able to maintain in a classroom setting due to mental health needs. The program is appropriate for adolescents stepping down from an inpatient acute stay or as a preventative for possible inpatient stay. This program is offered 5 days per week and operates year round. Their day will include 3 hours virtual learning, 3 hours Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and additional activity therapy twice per day. The 3 hours of virtual learning will allow opportunities for credit recovery, remedial work, electives, and completion of regular coursework, while learning coping and self-regulation skills. A light breakfast and lunch is provided, as well as snacks throughout the day. Individuals may schedule a time to come in person for their free assessment for IOP by contacting our outpatient department at 317-406-8626 or by calling 844-991-9900 and asking for the outpatient department.
