Adult and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs
In addition to free assessments, inpatient care, and detox treatment services, Hendricks Behavioral Hospital provides an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults and adolescents ages 13 to 17. These programs are more frequent and comprehensive than traditional outpatient counseling.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive treatment for individuals suffering from mental illness or substance use disorder. We offer a primary mental health track or a dual diagnosis track for individuals with underlying mental health and an additional substance abuse component.
IOP provides programming geared towards assisting individuals in identifying their individual triggers and developing a personalized plan for self-regulation. The program allows individuals to transition back into everyday life, work, and family commitments while receiving the additional mental health supports they need. After completion of one of our IOP programs, participants may elect to attend our Level 1 adult support group. This program acts as a step down from IOP. These groups meet Tuesday and Thursday from 7 pm to 8 pm. Our programs utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, which include components of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Free assessments are provided 24/7 at our facility. You will meet a clinician who will perform a level of care assessment with you to determine your individual needs. Next-day admission in most cases is possible. At the end of your treatment, discharge planning is done to identify further resources for your continued recovery.
We offer 24/7 free assessments in our facility for your convenience. If you or a loved one is struggling, please contact us at 844-991-9900 for more information.
